New installer available: RebornOS-2020.09.01-x86_64.iso
ATTENTION: Due to the change from xapps to xapp in Arch Linux, the installer had to be recompiled.
IMPORTANT NOTE: During the installer version changes, its availability on our server 2 will be delayed a bit.
NOTE: The installer uses the new cosmic file format implemented by RebornOS. It is important to note that the rest of the installers will no longer be operational once the old cosmic files are removed from our repositories (NOTE: The old comsic files have been removed from our repository on July 1st, 2020), so it is recommended to download this one.
The cosmic files of RebornOS are the tool that allows the installer to know what to use and, in addition, once in the final systems, allows the user to count on the improvements that RebornOS adds from now on, since they are in charge of maintaining the system updated with the last added modifications.
If you have RebornOS already installed and you want to use these new files, you can read how to proceed in the following document in our Wiki.
If you wish to continue without the changes, your system will continue to work, but you will not get the improvements and changes that RebornOS implements.
GNOME installation is done without dash to panel, to avoid problems when changing the desktop version. By default, the following extensions will be activated: Kstatusnotifieritem/appindicator support (system tray), pamac updates indicator, removable drive menu, Screenshot window sizer, and User themes.
LXQt now uses lightdm to access the desktop.
earlyoom is enabled by default on all desktops.
The Gufw firewall (Uncomplicated Firewall) is installed on all desktops, but disabled by default.

There is a bug in 5.7.x (5.7.4) i915 driver that causes freeze on boot with some intel integrated gpus (a1398 is affected).
Not updating this package until the upstream issue is resolved.

EXTRA NOTES:
(1).REMEMBER: Secure boot must be disabled.
(2). RebornOS comes with EarlyOOM enabled by default on all desktops.
(3).The following instructions are recommended to properly configure pamac and avoid errors.
pamac performs the updates (and the installations of the different packages) within RebornOS. There may be some problem when using it with its default configuration, as it is preconfigured to work with four parallel downloads. To solve the possible inconveniences, these parallel downloads will be adjusted so that they are only one. Also, pamac can work with AUR. If you only use the Arch Linux and RebornOS repositories (and do not use anything from AUR), you can disable this option.
In the video you can observe the procedure. Keep in mind that when you select Preferences, you will be asked to enter your user’s password (something that is not requested here, since the demonstration was recorded from the RebornOS installer, where the password is disabled):

Heads up: Please go easy on me if this is a question that's already been addressed. (Also, I'm not extremely knowledgeable about computers, just have some general knowledge)I have a Mac OS Sierra version 10.12.5
Basically I've been absolutely stressing myself out over the past couple days because I've been trying to play a fan-made Pokemon game called Pokemon Reborn. When you download it, there's a game.exe file and I remember from my old computer that I needed to open it with Wine. I have Wine 1.7.0 and whenever I right-click the game.exe file to open it with Wine, the Wine icon shows up but nothing happens and the wine icon in the upper right bar doesn't show up.
I tried looking it up and found some guy on a forum who was having the same problem as me, and the person responding told him to check for system updates on his Mac, and just like that, his problem was fixed. But for some reason, even after I updated my computer to the latest possible version, it still didnt work.
So I downloaded both Wine 2.10 and Wine 2.11 and managed to open up the .xz files through an unarchiver app. After using this app, two folders were created, one for 2.10 and one for 2.11. Inside, there's an abundance of complicated files and such and, like I said earlier, I only have basic computer knowledge, and I have NO idea what to do now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
